Tricuspid Passion Release
'Tricuspid Passion Release' is a lovely cream coloured daylily flower with a green throat turning to yellow as it extends outward towards the light fuchsia wine eye. Bright cream rays pierce the eye and extend outward along the raised midribs creating a starburst effect. There is a golden yellow filigree edge on the petals. The scapes have an average of 16 buds which are spread out well with 3-4 way branching. The name emerged from the eye looking heart shaped and of course being in three segments with a starbusrt effect created by the rays. This is another dormant and very hardy plant in my garden where freeze/thaw conditions prevail in most winters. If you're looking for a midsized plant with a lighter coloured, but patterned daylily flower, this one has a good length of bloom season. It is a cross between 'Spirit Zone' and 'Dragon Flight'. $20 DF (Double fan)
