Out of the Fog
'Out Of The Fog' is a very reliable grower and bloomer. The flower is a crimson purple with a green throat fading to yellow as it expands outward. The yellow throat is surrounded by a blue/slate halo. The flower exhibits pinching on all 3 petals most of the time, but also consistantly displays cascading on the sepals, making it a Cascade Unusual Form daylily. Numerous qualities make it a good addition to northern gardens. The flower colours hold up well in the sun and the rain. The scapes have 4-5 way branching, giving the blooms a good spaced out appearance. The bud count is 20+, giving it a long season of bloom. It starts to bloom in mid-season and extends into the late season when many other daylilies have already finished blooming. The flowers always open well and the plant is a very hardy dormant. The parents are my 2014 introduction 'Meenoo's Wings' and Jamie Gossard's 'Super Model'. $25 Double Fan
