I wish my camera skills were such that I could capture the true essence of colour in this daylily bloom. I am not completely satisfied with any of my photos. The dalily bloom on 'Luscious Lavender Lips' is a gorgeous cream coloured flower. It has a large lemon yellow throat that is surrounded by a very large light purple/lavender eye. The lavender/purple colour traces the outside edge of the gently ruffled petals. The beautiful shade of purple on the eye and edge of this daylily is very showy and not that common for eyed and edged daylilies in my garden. The scapes have 3-4 way branching and it has a good bud count of 15. It is a full sibling with 'Midsummer Blooming Bouquet' having come from a cross of 'Arabian Trail' and 'Clarification'. $18 DF Double Fan
