Nova Scotia Trilogy
From the standpoint of breeding for plant quality this is my best introduction to date. Some of the scapes have up to 8-way branching with an average of 5-6 way branching and the plant has an average bud count over 30. The flowers are dark red pink with red sepals and a large yellow green throat, surrounded by a light rose pink halo. The yellow throat colour is also mirrored on the sepals with a thin light pink halo around the edge of the sepal yellow. This daylily is an impressive 38” tall and is a standout performer with a multitude of blooms spaced out very nicely on the well branched scapes. The development of this daylily involves hybridizing input from 3 different Nova Scotia hybridizers (Don Longton, Ed Kimball, Allan Banks) (Forever the Optimist x Taos2) x (Banks of Jeddore x Flying Trapeze) for a beautiful, hardy, and excellent performing daylily. $75 SF (Single Fan)
