The flowers on this daylily are beautiful and I love it and have used it in hybridizing. However, in my garden it is not winter hardy if winter temperatures are severe for an extended amount of time. It has to be well mulched or covered with a styrofoam box in winter. Only divide in early spring. If you get consistant snow cover in winter this will help it's winter survival. For me it acts more like an evergreen than a SEV.
